Your Huck AI Account
You do not require a Huck AI Account to access the Website or the Service. Certain portions of the Website and the Service can be viewed and materials uploaded to without a Huck AI Account. You also can contact customer support directly without having to register for an account.
For some activities, such as accessing private areas or signing materials you upload, you need a Huck AI Account. We ask for some personal information when you create an account, including your email address and a password, which is used to protect your account from unauthorized access. We also require your full legal name and ask you to optionally provide additional biographical information which will be publicly displayed in your profile. The Company owns the representation of the account, but you own your personal details and profile.
Children under the age of 13 are prohibited from using the Service or creating a Huck AI Account.
Information Collection
The Company collects personally identifiable information when you register for a Huck AI Account, when you use the Service, and when you engage with marketing activities like promotions or sweepstakes. The Company may also receive personally identifiable information from our business partners.
When you use the Website or the Service, we may record information about your usage of the Website and the Service, such as but not limited to pages, groups, and favorites you subscribe to, which other users you communicate with, the pages you visit, the frequency and size of data transfers, and information you display about yourself as well as information you click on in the Website and in the Service (including interface elements, settings). If you are logged in, we may associate that information with your Huck AI Account.
The Company and its Partners may use cookies and electronic files called "web beacons" on web pages and in emails in order to properly provide the Website and Service to you and to confirm delivery of communications to you. The Company will not allow third parties to use cookies or web beacons on its Website or Service unless those third parties are bound to a confidentiality agreement that complies with this privacy policy.
The Company automatically receives and records information from your computer, browser, and network activity, including but not limited to your IP address, Website and Service cookie information, software and hardware attributes, and the page you request.
Information Usage
The Company uses information for the following general purposes: to fulfill your requests for certain products and services, improve our services, conduct research, and to contact you about specials and new products or for service announcements or administrative messages relating to the Service.
The Company does not use your email address or other personal information to send commercial or marketing messages without your consent. We may use your email address without further consent for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as notifying you of major Service changes or for customer service purposes). By creating a Huck AI Account, you grant us permission to send you emails in order to fulfil the normal operations of the Service (such as emailing you to reset your password) which is only revocable by terminating your account.
The Company uses cookies, web beacons, and log file information to: (i) store information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit Bibex; (ii) provide custom, personalized content and information; (iii) monitor the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns; (iv) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors and pages viewed; and (v) track your entries, submissions, and status in promotions, sweepstakes, and contests.
The Company uses collected data to compute aggregate metrics such as pages viewed and total number of visitors in order to statistically determine trends and patterns about usage and demographics for the purpose of improving the Service.
Anonymity
Once you register with the Website or the Service, you are no longer anonymous to the Company or other users of the system. Information collected from your computer, browser, and network activity may be sufficient to identify you, either directly or indirectly. Aggregate metrics may reveal statistical outliers and anomalies that may directly or indirectly personally identify specific individuals. The Company does not warrant that it can nor will preserve or protect your anonymity.
Any personal information you volunteer in materials that you upload to the Website or the Service may be collected and used by others.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
The Company will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone.
Where the Company has to share your personally identifiable information to third parties, we will not do so unless:
- We have your consent to share this information;
- We need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested;
- We need to share the information with companies who work on behalf of the Company to provide a product or service to you. Whenever we share your personal information with these trusted business partners, they work under confidentiality agreements that comply with this privacy policy.
- We reasonably believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or as otherwise required or permitted by law;
- We respond to warrants, subpoenas, court orders or legal process or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; or
- We find that your actions on our web sites violate the Huck AI Terms of Service or any of our usage guidelines for specific products or services.
We may transfer information about you if the Company is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, the Company will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
When you register for a Huck AI Account, your registration information and other data will be transmitted to Canada, the United States, and/or other countries for processing and storage by Huck AI and its affiliates and may be subject to the legal jurisdiction of these countries.
Google API Data Access
The Service integrates with Google APIs to provide productivity and content features. When you authorize Huck AI to access your Google account, the following data may be accessed:
Gmail: The Service accesses your Gmail account to read email messages (including full message content, headers, and attachments), read and manage labels, send and reply to emails on your behalf, manage drafts, access vacation responder settings, and perform incremental synchronization of your mailbox. This access is used to provide email management, search, and AI-assisted features.
Google Calendar: The Service accesses your Google Calendar to read and list calendar events across all your calendars, and to create, update, and delete calendar events on your behalf. This access is used to provide scheduling, briefing, and calendar management features.
Google Drive and Docs: The Service accesses your Google Drive to list, search, read, and download files (including Google Docs exported as plain text, Sheets as CSV, and other file types), and to upload, rename, delete, and share files on your behalf. This access is used to provide document search, indexing, and content retrieval features.
YouTube: The Service accesses your YouTube account to list channel content, videos, and playlists. This access is used to index video content for search and retrieval features.
Google user data accessed through these APIs is used solely to provide the features of the Service you have requested. This data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties except as necessary to operate the Service (such as cloud infrastructure providers bound by confidentiality obligations). This data is not used to train AI models. You may revoke the Service's access to your Google account at any time by visiting https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. OAuth refresh tokens are stored securely and used only to maintain your authorized session.
Huck AI use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Use of your data to build AI models
Huck AI builds a vector database of your content on infrastructure operated by the Company. This vector database is queried to retrieve content to answer questions. A large language model writes answers based on the retrieved content; where that model is operated by a third-party provider, it is used under terms that prohibit training on your data. Your data is not otherwise incorporated into an AI model or used to train a model.
Syndication of your Huck AI model
You may choose to syndicate your Huck AI instance with other users of Huck AI, or syndicate other users' Huck AI instances with yours.
When you syndicate your Huck AI instance, your vector database will be available to be queried by the other Huck AI instance to answer questions and retrieve content. Your content and data will not be copied into the other instance.
Your Rights to Control Your Information
You have the right to access, verify and update your Huck AI Account information and preferences at any time, including whether you want the Company to contact you about specials and new products.
You may request deletion of your Huck AI Account through the Service by logging in and clicking on "Cancel my account" from the account administration interface.
We may retain your personal information in backups for a reasonable period of time. This information will not be shared with anyone outside of the Company.
Confidentiality and Security
The Company will limit access to your personal information to employees who, as part of their job, we believe need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you.
In the event that you believe that your personal safety is at risk or if you believe that you may be the victim of identity theft or other illegal conduct, please contact the appropriate federal, provincial or local law enforcement agencies directly.
